As a kid, I grew up on a street with 10 other kids all my age. We played every sport possible on our street as we grew up. As I went through school my passion for sports slowly morphed into a passion for the gym which then turned to a passion for teaching fitness. I’m married now with one kid and I am working on my second college degree in Exercise Science after which I wish to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
I’ve always said that my turning point in my life of when I really buckled down with my fitness was when I decided to go back to school. However, recently my wife and I became first-time parents with our son Jayce. Every time I see him I am reminded that he depends on me and that I need to be healthy and fit to be there for him and that the love I have for him outweighs any excuse I can conceive on why I shouldn’t take care of myself and lead by example for him. He is my why and my reason for everything I do.
I coach because I truly love to educate and help those around me. My goal and purpose are to teach you and give you the tools to become self-sustaining while on your path to health and fitness. It doesn’t hurt though to have you keep coming back just to see that grin on your face for our next workout though!
